 Dumb and Dumber Dumb and Dumber Quote: Dumb and Dumber is a 1994 picaresque or buddy comedy film starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Written and directed by the Farrelly brothers, the film follows the cross-country trek of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, two good-natured but incredibly moronic friends. Making heavy use of slapstick comedy and gross-out humor, Dumb and Dumber contributed to the launch of a successful career for the Farrelly brothers. Classic comedy.

The movie is just like it's title - pretty dumb. But it is also an exhilarating comedy and one of the reasons why Jim Carrey is my all-time favorite actor. I doubt there will ever be a more gifted comedy actor than him. He is at his best in this one. Sadly, several jokes doesn't work well on repeat viewings anymore, but overall the movie is always a fun watch.

It's the funniest movie of the 90s hands down. It's a great film.

Alot of things that Carrey and Daniels do in the movie is so downright embarrassing, that is why the movie works so well. I know toilet humor is usually reserved for child like behavior but I cant help but laugh a the urine in the bottle scene or Daniel's diarrehea scene

One of my top 5 movies of all time... it's one of those rare comedies that no matter how many times I watch it I still laugh my ass off just as hard as I did the first time I saw it.
