Fantastic little alien/horrow flick. Every time I see it on TV I end up watching it, even if it's only for a little in the backround. B+

The movie is a really refreshing entry in the teen horror genre. While noit very scary, it is still suspensful at times and can boast with a really greatly assembled cast. Heh, there is even an appearance by Harry Knowles in it. Robert Rodriguez knows his stuff and Kevin Williamson is still one of the best horror screenwriters ever, it is partillay thanks to him why this take on Invasion of Body Snatchers still looks refreshing despite having been done over and over for so many times. The twist at the end is pretty well-done too.

Extremely dull and cliched and the soundtrack is filled with the songs by the worst bands ever
Its one of the reasons Kevin Williamson should stop writing

Interesting little film, with lots of in-jokes to other sci-fi flicks. It's akin to Scream (same writer) in that the protagonists have knowledge of what they're up against via the movies. Because of that, it's a smarter script than the usual teen horror flick, though it's still prone to cliché and stupidity. The leads are mostly young actors in quasi-breakout roles, and the supporting cast is an amazing mishmash of genre icons and Rodriguez staples. Loads of fun to watch, with ample amounts of horror and comedy, though it's not the most revolutionary of films. A good, not great, modern update of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Re: The Faculty
The Faculty has won the award for the "Most 90s Movie Ever." It's not bad; the actors are all so young and beautiful (especially Jordana Brewster ), the script is clever and a few of the plot twists got me. But that 90s style is so cringe that it kept the movie from ever becoming great. What did 90s kids have to be so emo about anyways? Nothing important even happened that entire decade. B-
