 Half Baked
Half Baked Quote: Half Baked is a 1998 stoner comedy film starring Dave Chappelle, Jim Breuer, Harland Williams and Guillermo Díaz. The movie was directed by Tamra Davis, and co-written by star Dave Chappelle and Neal Brennan (Brennan was later a writer on Chappelle's Comedy Central show Chappelle's Show). Cameo appearances include Steven Wright, Tommy Chong, Janeane Garofalo, Willie Nelson, Tracy Morgan, Snoop Dogg, Jon Stewart, Stephen Baldwin and Bob Saget. Really funny. B

Kind've overrated. It's one of those movies that I've seen 4-5 times because everyone else loves and owns it but me, and I see it at their house quite a bit. But yeah, there's nothing gut-busting about it.

it's funny, but it seems to lose something with repeated viewings.

It's one hell of a funny movie being sober. I can just imagine how funny it is while being intoxicated. I should probably try it some time (Not that I'm advocating drug use).

It's a fairly funny, even though a bit of an uneven film. There is something about those cult stoner comedies like this one and Harold & Kumar that I just don't find THAT hilarious. The best scenes are the ones with them flying and the dog flying. Those had me laughing pretty hard. The others just got a chuckle out of me. I suppose this kind of a movie is much funnier when it is watched by someone who is actually stoned, heh.
