 Sweet Sixteen
Sweet Sixteen Quote: Sweet Sixteen is a 2002 film by director Ken Loach. The film tells the story of a working class Scottish teenage boy, Liam (played by Martin Compston), a typical 'ned', who dreams of starting afresh with his mother who is completing a prison term. Liam's attempts to raise money for the two of them are set against the backdrop of Greenock and Port Glasgow.

Not to diss this film because I haven't seen this, but the title reminds me of a bad Hilary Duff song of the same name.

yeah, i gotta agree....thaT's kinda, yknow, sad:o
anyway, i dunno, might just be me, but for some reason all these heavy irish accented, kid/teen oriented films seem like...really depressing:/ i dunno, not a bad thing, i guess...
i mean, its definitely not a bad thing, this movie is really great, incredible addition to the...well, the "genre" (im sure once youve seen it youll recognize it, but i dunno how to accurately label it.:O)
yknow?
it's good, and all, very good and all, top ten 2002 good and all...
