 Maggie's Plan Maggie's Plan Quote: Maggie's Plan is a 2015 American romantic comedy film directed and written by Rebecca Miller, based on the original story by Karen Rinaldi. The film stars Greta Gerwig, Ethan Hawke, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, Travis Fimmel, Wallace Shawn, Ida Rohatyn, Monte Greene and Julianne Moore. The film had its world premiere at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2015. The film is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2016, by Sony Pictures Classics.

Re: Maggie's Plan Not as good as Mistress America, which was one of my favorite movies of last year, but it's funny and breezy and sweet, and the entire cast is great. Greta Gerwig is at her most charming and Julianne Moore is hysterical. Ethan Hawke also gives a really fine performance, and the three of them have great chemistry with one another. Definitely worth checking out. B/B+

Re: Maggie's Plan Maggie's Plan is a pleasant little bauble of a comedy of manners, it's resignedly whimsical tone carries it far. And who could ever get enough of Greta Gerwig?! *A-*
