Quote:
Mimic 3: Sentinel is a 2003 science fiction horror film, directed by JT Petty, with a script inspired by a short story of the same name by Donald A. Wollheim. The movie was a direct-to-DVD sequel to Mimic (1997) and Mimic 2 (2001).

Mimic 3: Sentinel takes a departure from the tone of the first two films. It has a feel similar to Rear Window rather than the action/horror tone of its predecessors.

I liked the first movie. It's a fun guilty pleasure and I just dig creature features. The second one was bad, but still featured a nice amount of gore. This one...the less said about it, the better. Certainly among the very worst films I have ever seen. You get about 10 minutes of real bug action and considering a running time of under 75 minutes, the movie still manages to drag on.

Terrible.

Thank God, nothing, or it would have even been disappointing on top of being just terrible.

I did enjoy del Toro's first one and I am always a sucker for creature features.
