Blast





I'm guessing it's a DTV movie, but either way, it was damn entertaining.

The action scenes were good, the movie was funny, and best of all, it never leaves you bored.

If this really is a DTV, it's pretty impressive and fun. B-

Just as Zing has said it's a very fun movie and it is the best DTV movie I have seen in a long while, probably since Dead End. Yes, the movie is a total rip-off of The Rock/Die Hard/Under Siege and it is not as good as any of these three, but it's still a lot of fun, very well-paced and never leaves you bored indeed. The humor is decent, even though not great and Eddie Griffin is surprisingly good as an action lead. Never pictured him in such a role, but he did well. Vinnie Jones was a blast as an insane villain. Breckin Meyer was bland, as expected. The characters in the movie were all very clichéd and extremely generic, just like the entire movie itselfm but the good thing is that it didn't take itself too seriously. There are plot holes, logical faults and some too clichéd stuff, but it is still more fun than many high profile action movies released in theatres nowadays (I am looking at you, xXx) and the production values are really great for a DTV flick.
