 Re: Predators
Alright, alright, it's B movie level, that's better? And as such, not so bad...but comparing it with the other Predators and actions films in general it's sub-par.

 Re: Predators
It's not as good as Predator and Predator 2, but it is enjoyable. About on par with Alien vs. Predator.

So I just watched this as a refresher for The Predator, and I have to say I enjoyed it all over again. It's basically an homage to the original but with a new bunch of characters and on an alien game reserve planet, which I dig. There are so many references to the first, and the entire score is the same too (stuffp calling it awful, lol, he must hate the first Predator then!). It's just great fun this film, and I love the evolution of the series. There really has not been a bad Predator film (not counting the AvP franchise, which only Requiem is bad anyway), and comparing it to the Alien franchise it's pretty much pure gold.
It even ends with Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally" as a final final final reference. It's great.

 Re: Predators
This is an underrated movie. It has a novel setup with fun, over-the-top characters and is, in general, a decent, honorable Predator film. Never understood why fans acted rather coldly toward it.

 Re: Predators
It starts great. Gets very clunky once LF stops in, then pretty much coasts to the en on "ok-ishness"
Thats still good enough to be the second best Predator film. 2 is one of the worst sequels ever, and I wipe my ass with AVP DVD covers. It's a legit solid effort if not entirely successful.

 Re: Predators
Surprisingly AVP is much cheaper, and it's got a glossy finish that is just magical when you wipe, it's almost if it knows it was made for shit

 Re: Predators
I disagree. The roughness of toilet paper makes it ideal for wiping poo. Glossy DVD covers will just smear it up your backside.

Maybe where you're from, here I get the good stuff.
One Man's wipe is his own business. I could tell you you are doing it wrong, but as said, it's your business.

By the good stuff, you mean knocked off DVDs that are just standard A4 paper. Gotcha!

No it's been blinded with a shit magnet, and almost pulls it right out of you when you use it. It's really quite brilliant. I know a guy. I can get you in touch.

 Re: Predators
A very nice concept that's executed nicely. The only problem is that the movie fails in the end and becomes a generic slog instead of something interesting. The ideas and hunt before is possibly the series' most innovative stuffs.
