It was easily the most rediculous film I've ever seen. Ill admit I didnt see it for a while, I hate south park, Basketball, I've never really got it, but I was laughing the entire film.
My two favorite jokes:
- "Matt Damon"
-"Great, now suck my cock, ha ha, just kidding"

1/10 (F) I totally agree with you. I didn't like this movie very much at all. There were a few funny parts, but some of the scenes were just too much. Like the sex scene, at first it was hilarious, but the watersports and skat was just so disgusting, and uneccessary. I usually really enjoy comedies, but I think a lot of the jokes fall flat here. I laughed a few times, but not all the time. It's not a consistent comedy by any means, and I thought the songs were so incredibly stupid. I felt so embarassed watching this with my friends too. Sorry to disagree with you Zing, but this wasn't my cup of tea. D-
Guess that's in the "unrated" version, huh? I never saw that.
What else is different about the theatrical version and the unrated one?

Just the sex scene, as far as I know.

I saw parts of it again recently. Still hilarious.
"Matt Damon" always cracks me up.

It seems sometimes in the euphoric peak of watching this movie that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are just looking to offend as many people as possible. Hence this Movie is a rather slapdash affair when it comes to humour. Yes there are some stunning sections that crash squarely in the land of extreme comedic brilliance but overall the effort is to scattershot. The broad punches on world politics miss the mark in a major way (due majorly to the naive worldwide view the movie takes whixh is understandable) but when this movie contentrates on more intimate details it really leads fly with a brand of vicious humour that screams awards. Wide ranging this movie fails, but on the intimate level it will leave you stiches.

I just watched this again with a drunk college audience. And it rekindled the love I had for this one way back when it was released. I haven't heard laughter like that, well, ever.

That would explain it. Nothing elicites laughter quite like the influnce of alcohol. Not dissing the reaction but I'd reacte the exact the same way with any comedy when drunk so it's a kind of a moot point in a way.

Yes. Flaming. Don't listen to his lies about having a wife and stuff.
As for Team America... that movie rocked balls. One of those movies I can watch again and again and laugh just as hard every time. That scene where Gary has to give the signal for help (flailing his arms wildly) while undercover as a terrorist gets me every time.

It also explains his avatar of two half naked dudes going at it. Not that there is anything wrong with PT being gay, mind you.

 Re: Team America: World Police
Watched this for the first time the other day (I had seen some random scenes before though) and I thought it was pretty funny though I wonder if I would have the same reaction re-watching it later on.
