It was ok, I suppose. I didn't really get all the dialogue and what goes on in the corporate world of banking and the stock markets, but I got the gist. Michael Douglas isn't the central character in the film, Shia is, and Josh Brolin just replaces Gordon Gekko as the tycoon that the young upstart wants to bury, so it's basically a remake of the original. It's a strange film and I didn't appreciate how it alienates the casual moviegoer (but then it paid the price for doing so by not making much at the box office). I won't be remembering this film for too long.
