 Re: Up in the Air
I didnt find it light weight at all. Just about as perfect a film you can get these days. Loved it.
Grade A+ (this and Inglorious Basterds are far ahead of everything else from 09 for me....so far..still alot to see)

 Re: Up in the Air
When I watched this at the cinema, I loved it and gave it an A. Watched it last night and loved it all over again...for the same and different reasons. Still an A, which is a feat because most films go down with repeat viewings. It is such a fantastic film. Performances are all golden. Kendrick, Clooney, Farmiga, McBride, Bateman, Galifianakis, and Simmons. Great cast. The script is just wonderful.
A

It holds up, yes. Seen it 3-4 times now. Clooney plays Clooney, but he has rarely played Clooney as well as here. Kendrick and Farmiga kill it, screenplay is fantastic (how the fuck did it lose the Oscar against Precious?!)

I still love it, too. One of the best endings of the last several years.

 Re: Up in the Air
That was one of the best years ever at the Oscars for me. I loved Up in the Air, District 9, Avatar, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds and Up.

I really loved this movie and have watched it so many times. Specially loved Anna Kendrick's turn in this.

 Re: Up in the Air
Yeah this is a favourite of mine. It holds up very well on repeat viewings (which is rare for me).
