as soon as the opening music hit i knew i was going to love this - or, at least, i'd go on a rant about shit movies paired with awesome music. but it thankfully was the former, and i think this probably pierces the coagulation of kubrick and von trier at the top of my favourite list.
i was totally on board with the mental illness track, but ending with such ambiguity is even better, and the 'hail satan, god is dead!' scene was some of the most off-centre deranged hilarity ever. without ruining the atmosphere at all.
creepy horror is better than terrifying horror.
