Re: Beetlejuice The statement definitely seems odd to our modern ears, as Beetlejuice is a not a tired update of lame material, nor does it contain a major role for his female life partner. In addition, Beetlejuice is not terrible.

Re: Beetlejuice Back when Tim Burton was interesting. He made movies with styles that bettered the films, now he makes films around a style he thinks he needs to use. This and Pee Wee are two awesomely twisted films with brilliant performances by their title characters. This movie is awesome
