ALSO, why did Iron Man fall back through the portal at the end? He was in space with no gravity, why did he "fall" back to earth? Re: The Avengers I still love this movie. The first half may be slow, but the payoff is so worth it. The final battle is some of the most EPIC shit ever put on screen and never gets old.

Re: The Avengers This movie is really boring except for the fight at the end. Not really worth sitting through, IMO. MCU got better starting with Cap 2. Guardians, AOU and Ant-Man have all been very entertaining (yes I know I'm in the minority on Ultron).

Re: The Avengers This is better after having watched all of Phase 1. The character stuff is better than the action though, which becomes quite numbing and lacks a sense of stakes.

Re: The Avengers This is still the best Avengers movie IMO. The whole plot of Loki trying to divide the team does not work as much but the payoff is great here. The final action scene even though long still works really well and so much more believable than the final act of Endgame even with all the progresses these heroes have made. There are also a lot of funny moments and surprises sprinkled across.
