There are different degrees of A+. 96, 97, 98, 99 and 100. This is like a 97 or 98, while the better ones are 99s and 100s.

Why exactly Crouch has to go all the hoops to ensure Potter touches the Triwizard Cup has always bugged me. I can't remember, but does even the book give a reason why he couldn't turn any random piece of crap into a portkey?

It would look like an accident that way and it wouldn't raise suspicion. They would just assume he died in the task.

Aside from the non-sensical main plot of the movie the action in this one is great and the movie flies by its runtime but similar to Chamber of Secrets only last 5 minutes are the real reason to invest in this movie as a Harry Potter continuation story. The conflict(s) among the leads weren't handled well but the main 4 events were great. This was my favorite book of the series so I remember a lot from it and while there are so many things done well there is an overall tension in the book which the movie couldn't manage. I think the finale is done very well here still overall I prefer PoA over this. The new additions are again great here specially Gleeson as Mad-Eye-Moody and the three leads keep improving with every installment. Edward without his fangs was completely out of place here.
