I really liked this movie actually. The story is a bit simple, but that's not the point. The point is my really affinity towards flattening of animation and use of color. Thornberries is spectacular, and only a little less impressive than Triplettes of Belleville for animation. This is why Nickelodeon didn't kill 2d animation and Disney did. Because they always had a sense of making highly stylized content.

The story itself was decent, and with the clean moral play of not killing endangered species. So can't really complain.

Good stuff for a kids/family movie with a bit more heart than some of the more sarcastic Pixar stuff. Great soundtrack by Simon too.
