I appreciate what the film is trying to do (and has done successfully for a lot of people), but it was an absolute chore for me to sit through and I don't think I've liked Justice Smith in anything I've ever seen him in.

compelling, deeply uncomfortable, and ultimately rewarding (in the sense that it provided for me a truly unprecedented experience). I wouldn’t say it’s a pleasant watch but it’s a movie that gets under your ribs and imparts something deep, sticky, disturbing, with resonance of some difficult-to-elucidate and brutal truth. I wish I had seen this with a friend I could talk to about it instead of a solo outing! I also wanted to smack the ten or so teenagers that were snickering and commenting loudly and negatively as the movie went on (definitely not a film I’d recommend to a casual audience).
