MTV Films has brings us so many box office hits, such as The Longest Yard , Napoleon Dynamite.... Murderball seems like another MTV winner; can it gross more than $10 million? It may even crack in Top 10 weekend chart. http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/murderball/ |

$10m doesn't seem likely for this pic, doco's rarely do that well and when they do they have some sort of controversy that thrusts them into the public eye ie. Bowling For Colombine (guns & Moore's style), Fahrenheit 9/11 (Bush, terrorists, Iraq) and Super Size Me (the McDonalds-For-A-Month gimmick). It should do reasonably well to a limited extent, it's on 100% at RT after 10 reviews - its just that it lacks potential for much at the box office. *SPOILER* New Zealand won the Wheelchair Rugby paralympics feautured in this film. Mwahahahahaha. US came 3rd. \:D/ |

Winged Migration didn't have some sort of controversy; it still gross $10 million. |
