Clones made $14m in this same frame in '02. There's no way Episode III drops below that. |

Don't count out Shark Boy and Lava Girl as an alternative to Madagascar. I didn't know what the hell this was... Robert Rodriguez did this? Why didn't he just go with Spy Kids 4? Hmm... |

I feel bad for High Tension. Honestly, this is one film that I think is going to suffer from piracy. Almost every horror fan that I know of that wanted to see it has already done so. It's bound to hurt the box office, as sometimes films like this only have their core audience to depend on. |

It's bound to hurt the box office, as sometimes films like this only have their core audience to depend on. But one thing that will help it is that a lot of those that saw it and loved it want to see it on the big screen still. Out of the four people I know of that saw it (and even own it) every one of them plans on supporting it in theaters. |

As do I, but i'm just not feeling the hype and buzz around this film the way it should be, especialyl in the horror community. I'm not sure if that has more to do with Lion's Gate mishandling the film, or people not having much interest because they've already seen it. I'm expanding on this topic in the High Tension thread in Cinemania so as to not hijack this one. |

I don't know how bad piracy will have an effect. I mean, I've been searching for High Tension for months, and still haven't found it yet. If it's available (which it is), it's not easily accessible unless I'm lookin' in all the wrong places... But, no point in looking now. I can go see it in theaters. |
