(July 9th)Would be Black Widow but it's May date is a little early. It'll do great business for a pandemic but fall short of 100m.

Nothing this year. But we've seen in both China and Japan that when the numbers go back up, they are gonna be Huge. I would have pegged The Batman at around $220M before, but if its the first film in the "Back to Normal" era then I could see something like $275M / $700M. |

$200m+ OW for first Batman movie? This is what 3rd or 4th incarnation of Batman in last 15 years, there's no way it would have opened this big even in normal times. I do agree a $100m being strong possibility for Batman as well as Spider-Man. |

Bond? The first mega opener will be The Batman no doubt - combining the worlds most popular character with a former mega teen idol now seen Mohave "artistic integrity" is a gold mind. Spiderman - I have no idea. I thought the last one would be HUGE after Endgame but then it wasn't. |

I get the feeling No Way Home is going to get pushed back anyways and if that does end up being case than I definitely see The Batman crushing $100M OW and will probably crush $200M if they are able to build up even more hype coming off that awesome Fandome trailer which I'm sure they will. |

I wonder if Disney would dare release Black Widow after Shang Chi. SC, as a new character, was always gonna be an uphill battle in America while Black Widow, which stars a woman, was always gonna be an uphill battle in China. Why not hold Widow for late summer/fall and let Shang Chi clean up those summer backs across the pacific? |

Another Black Widow move would be tragic. Just release the damn thing, it's not like ScarJo's BW is continuing. (Unless she is somehow mmm) It'll double WW's opening likely if most theaters are open and would be a lifeline for the summer if covid doesn't get a random spike. |

Yes BW should not move anymore. They should release it with D+ like they did with Raya and try to make as much with streaming money. |

Disney should open BW in May as planned and hold off D+ for 3 weeks. That would be the best balance between theatrical and streaming |
