Re: Weekend Estimates (WW84)
That's with 60% of theaters being closed and straight to streaming. Honestly not bad. Would be nice if it does over Tenet but idk.

Incredible numbers all things considered and the strongest sign yet that theaters will be back in action as soon as Covid is done!
I don't why some are so convinced this would have flopped in normal circumstances. Box office legs, who knows; but opening weekend would have been $140-150m.

WB was doing well with the marketing campaign pre-COVID. The film would have also easily been the most anticipated film of the summer outside of potentially Black Widow and there was a one month gap between them. 150m OW was attainable. Would have crashed and burned after that but a 150m OW is too big that it couldn't have "flopped".

We have a dedicated December weekend predictions and estimates thread for this as there aren't many discussions. But anyways since this has started let's continue with this.

Re: Weekend Estimates (WW84)
Amazing number for Wonder Woman. Really interested to see how it does next weekend because I could see it dropping big with VOD release and Christmas boost.
News of the World and Promising Young Woman didn't do as big as I thought but Croods had a great hold.
