Onward is up only 126% from Thursday. The increase is a little low compared to Zootopia's second Friday (up over 200%) in 2016. The Invisible Man is up only 74%, also a little low. Maybe it's due to schools being closed during the week (hence inflated weekdays).

Schools being cancelled this week due to corona may have inflated weekdays. By the way, most theaters in my area stay open this weekend. I see some are prepared for closing next week as they are not showing any new releases this week.

There are no new releases next week cause no Quiet Place.

I said some theater (actually only one theater) is not showing any of this week's openers. I take it as a sign it is planning to close come next week (2-week contract).

I Still Believe and Bloodshot increased a little from early numbers. Holdovers saw heavy drops across the board. The outbreak apparently put a dent on the box office.

With these drops theaters may as well close. Odd thing is I wouldn't have expected Bloodshot or The Hunt to make much more without Coronavirus. But maybe they would have. I Still Believe definitely would have.

Yep and it can’t count on the usual Saturday bump family movies would receive. Sonic got killed too, probably won’t be able to hit $150M before theaters close down.

Will Onward even make it to $200m WW? No one wants to go to a theatre right now.

Honestly just pull Onward from theatres right now and put it on D+

My thoughts as well. Putting movies on streaming sites after a few weeks at this point is the right option. This includes Sonic as well.

Onward not making $100mil is embarrasing

Disney really should put onward on D+ real soon.
It wont end up wirh much more money from theatres now but it could give a good boost to D+.

We'll see closures announced this week. Just a question of who goes first.

2 Things. Onward's estimate went from 12.5 to 10.5, and I think it's funny that The Invisible Man and Emma added theaters this week!

Seeing this weekends numbers yeah I don't see why Disney doesn't just cut all of its loses and release Onward on Disney Plus. The movie is already a bomb and with how the next two months are going to go it makes no sense to keep it in theaters anymore. Great drop for TIM though and that movie will definitely remain one of the bright spots of the year.

Wonder if invisible man will be #1 next weekend. Assuming a few theaters are still open.

With the DVD release for most of these titles I see BO dropping even higher.
