Not sure about that. This weekend is considerably inflated by VD, and the HV release is coming soon. Thinking it will stop at 317/318. If it somehow manages 320+, though, it will eventually cross the 800M mark WW. Would be awesome. |

Jumanji 2 Is yet another success story. And here I was in early December thinking it was going to go the way most sequels went last year that k God it didn't crash |

Great numbers overall. While Sonic did amazing. The other two openers did pretty much close to expectations while Downhill crashed. Even then some of the holdovers increased. Very good weekend indeed where the wealth is spread across nicely. |

Has Sony announced the next Jumanji yet? Parasite should add at least $10 million more to its total after this weekend. Uncut Gems will be the first $50m+ movie for A24 if it doesn't get chopped from the theaters in the coming weeks. |

Pretty much everything is having good legs besides the horror films. Even The Gentlemen got a 3+ multiplier. Don't see Fantasy Island and Photograph having much more steam though. |

Yeah with the added boost of double holiday I don't see the openers this weekend having the same legs as the rest of the movies. Around 2.5 will be great for all three though I still feel that Sonic might have great legs as it is behaving like an "origins movie" which generally have more staying power. |
