Lol at that estimated Sunday. They are definitely lowballing that. The Sunday hold for Joker will end up better than that.

That Joker hold should be the story of the weekend, but I cannot get over that Parasite number. That movie is about to bulldoze every other platform foreign language release in the last 12 years.

I expect Gemini Man to go up in actuals AND have a decent hold next weekend. Word of mouth seems to be tracking better than the RT scores.

This is definitely another big weekend with a $55m holdover and $30m + $20m openers. Even for October standards that's big. Reminds me of the depth we had for couple of weekends in September.
In conclusion its not always required to have HUGE openers there is still a slight hope for mid-tiered movies if the product is something that audience want to see.
