Re: Thursday previews
I had been thinking this would do $20+ million for the weekend a few weeks ago, but the low tracking/predictions got be worried that I was overestimating it. Nice to see I was wrong. It would be nice to see an original film break out that's not relying on a big-name writer/director or a massively popular discography.

Re: Thursday previews
Yeah, the low tracking numbers had me worried too. But I thought Good Boys having a strong selling point with these young kid characters would help it outgross Blockers. I guess it's on track to do just that.

Re: Thursday previews
The only movie actually doing well is Good Boys.
Those drops for Scary Stories and Dora are pretty brutal. Did not think Dora would hold so poorly. Scary Stories should have opened in October. Ridiculous scheduling. Would have allowed it to hold well up until Halloween. Also could have opened quite a bit higher. It's such a fall movie. Since it won't be on DVD yet I'm hoping they expand it wide again in October as there are no horror movies opening that month.

Re: Thursday previews
Wasn't expecting much from Angry Birds but that's pathetic!
