Re: Weekend Estimates
Dark Phoenix dropping more than F4. Truly embarrassing end to Fox X-Men.

Re: Weekend Estimates
So they're estimating Dark Phoenix drops 3% on Sunday. So if that sticks without Father's Day it would have dropped even harder LOL pathetic

Clearly it's audience is massively expanding with this one, who may just be discovering it because all other options are poor. Aladdin slowly but surely is getting past major milestones. It's assured now it will be Smith's biggest film ever WW, beating ID4 at $817.4 m.

Yeah the other options are shitty plus it's a big "dad" movie for Father's Day weekend so that helps

Re: Weekend Estimates
Was expecting Shaft to get better as the weekend went on but oh well It was a really good time at the movies for me and my wife. With a Cinemascore of an A and a verified 95% RT audience score after 1000 reviews. It should have been primed to go.

Re: Weekend Estimates
On the positive side, Xmen is Jennifer Laurence's biggest film in three years! Also it made it to #2 on an all time list. Biggest second weekend drop for a 3500+ theater film. Just behind Fifty Shades.

Re: Weekend Estimates
Men in Black went above 30m with actuals... so there's that.
Rocketman looks to finish around 90m, may push 100m if late legs are good.

Re: Weekend Estimates
Moviegoers have so far rejected everything released this month. The sequels massively underperformed. Will this continue with TS4 and Annabelle 3? We can hope.

Re: Weekend Estimates
I hope Rocketman really stabilizes and manages to crawl over $100M. It deserves it.
