God, imagine if they did it and they used Robin Williams voice?
The worst case scenario is still probably going to do 700+ WW.

Aladdin got an A Cinemascore. Not surprised.

It’s hilarious how an opening half of BATB is being considered strong. Disney REALLY f’d this up. No reason this couldn’t open well over 100m 3 day.

So this might do nicely in the end, and then Lion King flops? That would be great lol

The Lion King won't flop but it will likely fall well short of expectations. It's hard to get excited for it. I'd personally prefer to see Aladdin even though have always loved the original TLK.

So audiences generally ignored the mediocre reviews. Kind of surprising.

When you're paying hard earned money for something, what's 'blindly' is just taking a chance because a well-crafted trailer sucked you in.

Critic reviews shouldn’t matter, I’ve disagreed with reviews MANY times. Kind of ridiculous that people think reviews matter more just because of ticket prices, bullshit

Most critics have a depth of gaze and analysis that's equal to the one of an average Joe that drinks his beer in a pub. Reviews are really indicative of a movie's quality only when they're toxic.

Early estimates for Aladdin at BOT are 29.5-30 for Saturday. Very good. 105m+ 4-day should happen.

I'm kinda surprised Brightburn did really bad. There was buzz when the trailer was released and I've heard people say they wantto see it.

Yeah I thought so as well, but over time it just didn't seem to pick up any buzz after that first trailer. This is a prime example of internet hype failing to translate into mainstream buzz which is nothing new, but it is surprising from time to time.

Yeah I think a film like Brightburn doesn't need 5 months of promotion.
