This is an awesome number. It is lower than DL's early estimates but the fact that it opened much more than the 2nd one is still awesome! My expectations were in the 40s.

My expectations were about the same as Chapter 2 ($80m). So happy it’ll end up over 100m

I think that other dog movie earlier this year is why this one is doing way below the first.
The Sun is Also a Star was actually decent I thought, too bad it didn't do Everything Everything #s.

This is such a good franchise to see do well. The franchise feels so authentic and doesn't take itself seriously at all.
