I am finding it hard to believe a Black Widow movie breaking out big? She has no powers and her quips are not even that funny. She makes better sense as a supporting character like in Winter Soldier. I am assuming it should be about "Budapest" thing Hawkguy and Black Widow have been talking about since the 1st Avengers movie. Should have made it like 5 years ago.

It could end up as lowest grossing Marvel movie despite Black Widow's appearance in all the Avenger movies. Other studios have to smell blood and schedule something big before and after this movie. Kind of similar to Fast 5 opening a week before Thor and beating it comfortably everywhere.

I dont know why they could not get Doctor Strange Sequel for next May. 1st movie released in 2016.

I wonder when we'll get Disney's first Deadpool film? Don't think it'll be part of MCU's official slate so that'll be weird. But it'll likely be huge as marketing will definitely push the merger.

I'm going to guess that Black Widow isn't really dead (she's in some sort of dimensional limbo) and that it's not really a true "prequel".

I do think the odds are extremely good that Florence Pugh's character is Yelena Belova and that she'll be Black Widow in the MCU going forward. Pugh has heat right now so I can't imagine she'll be a one-and-done character.

There is a Captain America box set on Itunes, but no Iron Man box set.

RDJ is done with Marvel. It's why he signed onto Doolittle and why he's reviving Sherlock, he was looking for new franchises to fill the void.

Good for him. There's really nothing else to get from the role besides money (and he has enough of that).

It's funny how almost every surviving core Avenger is getting their own spinoff or television series except for Don Cheadle's War Machine. I guess that happens when you've made zero impression despite making six of these things.

There's plenty of blame to go around, of course. Cheadle has been on autopilot, but the character hasn't been written well either.

Thinking more about future "Thanos" level threats, Cassandra Nova would be a big one once the X-Men are established. She's arguably more powerful than any villain the Avengers have faced save Thanos w/ all the gems.

Why did they change him from Terrence Howard in the first place? He was perfect in the role. Don Cheadle was never believable as a best friend of Tony Stark, he's unattractive and totally lacking in charisma. Terrence Howard was sexy and played off so well against RDJ. He doesn't deserve a spin off because he's boring af and never fit in with the rest.

Mainly Howard's ego. He would not accept the $1m paycheck they offered him because he got $4.5m for the first film. They said the film will be successful with or without him, and so he tested that theory and lost out big time. Cheadle, much more humble (and will now be remembered as part of the biggest franchise ever).

Black Widow being dead is weird and was unnecessary if ScarJo is still involved. Gamora is obviously coming back so I think jumping off the cliff won't be a true death.

Gamora did not come back. Gamora from another timeline came in with Thanos of that timeline.

Is it confirmed she didn't disappear when Thanos did? I thought they would have a scene with her and Quill or the Asguardians of the galaxy making it clear if true.

If she is gone again, I expect it to be reversed to have their happy ending with Quill

Gamora isn't with them at the end as that version of the character doesn't know any of them besides Nebula. They'll obviously find her in Vol. 3

Agreed, the first half of Vol 3. will probably be about them finding her and Star Lord getting her back on board with him. I guess the rest will focus on Adam Warlock and some Rocket Racoon back story they have mentioned. Possibly also the introduction of Beta Ray Bill (likely considering Thor will be in it).

Hopefully GotG3 also features more Starhawk, which Gunn hinted at before.

They did mention that the Ravagers will have a bigger part to play in future movies so looks likely.

Major leak out there that not only details what the films will be, but things that actually happen in them. I’m not trying to be that spoiled so I just skimmed over. Apparently the source also leaked details about Endgame’s plot including the time travel before anyone else.

Boy, Dr. Strange 2 feels like the worst film. What will it be almost 5 years since the last one.

The most important film is Spiderman and Black Panther 2. Then you have Guardians/Thor Captain Marvel. And in Black Panther 2 you introduce the next Wolverine (Sam as the Captain etc)

I don't think Solo films will work for the MCU going forward, unless the find a cool way to bring Deadpool in. R rated Avengers and they just throw Hugh Jackman and Robert Downey Jr in for cameos, and Josh Brolin as Cable and Thanos.

The new hot rumor is that Marvel wants Keanu in The Eternals. If that is true, then it means they haven’t even started filming yet right? So there’s no way that will be the November 2020 movie.

The D23 schedule announcement will be red hot.
