Is this going to be the next Christian breakout? It's a bit of an odd one. It is being released in September. Too far away from Christmas and near no other Christian festival (as far as I know). Also, there's not been another Christian breakout released at this time. Most are released in the first half of the year in the lead up to Easter. But it is from the director of God's Not Dead and its sequel, so who knows.

God will time his Second Coming to coincide with the film's release. I believe in a miraculous opening.

It is based on a hit song, ala I Can Only Imagine. But that also had Dennis Quaid.

I'm also keeping an eye on Indivisible. Trailer was with Adrift and I can see that doing well. Though last weekend in October doesn't seem like a great date. I'd push it to November or even December. December 7th would be a good date I think as that's just filled with Thanksgiving leftovers and one new opener.

I thought the song sounded familiar. Not sure the release date matters for wide release Christian films. Obviously late March and December are ideal but if they build it we will come. :-)

Not really true as many are box office duds. Christian audiences are a fickle bunch. It's kind of hard to guess which ones will explode out of the gate.
