Disney's Sunday projection was spot on. "Impressive...most impressive."

random note: TLJ will force TPM outside of the top 10 of all time. It's been up in the top 10 since June 1999, giving it almost a 18.5 year run. It was the longest run for any 90s film in the top 10 outside of Titanic.

In similar news, the big one this year was the original SW getting kicked out in late April by BATB, ending a 40 year run in the top 10 of all time.

Now $750 m won't be enough for the top 3. $600 m isn't enough to make it to the top 5. $500 m likely won't be enough for the top 10 by the time Avengers/Han Solo come out. $400 m likely won't be enough for the top 30 within a year.

I wonder if holidays will boost JL enough to reach $250m, most likely not, but you never know. Also Thor is VERY close to JL when released 2 weeks before this direct competition.

While everyone has been talking about the audience score for TLJ, has anyone noticed the audience score for Ferdinand? It’s at 49%. Is that just a side-swipe by the same nerds at 21st Century Fox for being bought by Disney. The film seems harmless.

Those make no sense. CinemaScore's for both films seem more accurate.
