I believe over Avatar. It's going to have Imax theatres for what 4 weeks in a row? It's opening weekend is going to be over 200+. It will be close to 500 by the end of it's 2nd weekend. After 3 weekends it will be closing on 600. I think it will then eventually pass Avatar with the remainder of it's run. |

Of course you would find a reason that it's ok or you to include re-releases, but not stuffp. You are still making a case where The Last Jedi's first-run is being predicted to out-gross or under-gross more than one release of Avatar. How many attempts does The Last Jedi have to out-gross Avatar's total gross for this question to be answered? I bet it's just one, right? |
