Which will gross more out of these bombs/flops/failures/disappointments - whatever you want to call thems - ?

Both opened similarly:
Valerian: $17m
Atomic Blonde: $18.2m

Valerian is currently ahead both domestically and internationally, though it just had a huge theater cut of 1,758 in its 3rd weekend, so Atomic Blonde will catch it domestically soon before probably taking a big theater dive itself.

Valerian is at $36m and Atomic Blonde is at $34m. Worldwide, it's $65m and $45m so far.

Atomic Blonde will gross more like fucking duh.

Even if Valerian out grossed it it wouldn't matter cause Atomic Blondes budget is way smaller.

I knew the budget thing would come up. This thread isn't about whether each is a flop or a bomb. I'm over that. It is just about which will gross more domestically and globally. I do not think it is obvious which will gross more worldwide, hence the thread.

Valerian worldwide will win. Domestically I omitted to vote, but I'd say AB.

I went Bomb domestic, Failerian worldwide. But I hope Bomb gets a HUGE theater cut next weekend and fails to make $40m.

Yeah so this is kinda obvious. AB should do better domestically whereas Valerian has the edge in OS markets.

Doesn't matter. I forget how, but Valerian was already somehow in the black (at least for the budget concerning the movie and not marketing) before it was released.

As for the thread: Blonde by about $10 million domestically and Valerian worldwide.

I wonder what Luc Besson (with a strong script) would have done with Dark Tower. The flighty look of Valerian could work better with Dark Tower.
