What is flop? I think it'll open to around $25m and hit $110-130m total depending on quality. Could have been bigger sure, and maybe even better off delayed, but it should break even at least.

You've seen it and think it won't be liked,
you don't think it can survive Rogue One,
you've seen more recent tracking suggesting something other than 30 OW/150M-ish?

It won't do big numbers as it should have when it was announced but I see JLaw and Pratt doing a lot of shows so the awareness will be there. It will still cross $100m domestic and WW it might be bigger, so I think it will do fine.

I still think it's doing between 120-140m and even more overseas. If you were expecting 200m juggernaut you may be disappointed though.

Deadline has it tracking at $50M for the 5-Day opening next week which would be a pretty solid start, but they also had Bad Santa 2 at $30M not too long ago. I see it crossing $100M, but unless it surprises OS it might just barely break even.

I think that one just flew under everyone's radar; it takes a higher profile flop to really mess up someone's career, I think.

Yeah, reviews for this are pretty bad so far. It's good for JLaw's sake she took that $20M.

I still think it can be a box office hit though. We'll see.

Yowza, these reviews are brutal.

Wonder if the late trailer release was because the studio was figuring out if they should delay it and re-shoot.

Also this doesn't appear to be getting a release to anywhere before Dec 21st. Why screen it for critics before the 20th?
