Wow, that's a superb number. I thought it was only going to hit This Is the End-ish numbers based on what seemed like a muted ad push, but when I first saw the trailer I figured it would be a sleeper. |

If SP follows SOC's pattern, it will open with $15.6M Friday. WOM is mixed to positive based on social media reactions. $35M+ OW is in play. |

Great start for SP, but looking at how SS performed last Thursday it seems like when a film appeals to a specific audience it can definitely lead to frontloading. Either way it should be good for $30M+ this weekend. |

Wow that is HUGE number for SP but given the R rated nature I believe it would do better in matinees and could be frontloaded a little. $8.2m is 15%+ drop for SS and that would be bad. |
