would weekend multi be weaker for holdovers bcos of spring break or will it be normal. Otherwise Zootopia number is sensational. Could be looking at 20% drop.

A 150% increase for MFH is remarkable, really unexplainable given historical data. WOM must in fact be superb.

KAPOOR & SONS - SINCE 1921 0.28 0.28 (new; $1,923 PTA from 143 theaters)
THE BRONZE 0.13 0.13 (new; $111 PTA from 1,167 theaters)
MIDNIGHT SPECIAL 61,000 61,000 (new; $12,200 PTA from 5 theaters)

Presumably they will rethink aspects of the fourth Divergent movie, because there's nowhere to go but down here.

Sensational hold for Zootopia, which deserves all the $ it's making and then some.

Get that modest hit, Jennifer Garner! Miracles from Heaven will likely hold under 30% with Easter next weekend.

Catastrophic for The Bronze. A $111 PTA?

Holdovers did very well. Not so great for openers.

They didn't advertise The Bronze at all. Also, I never got why it was such a hot title out of Sundance in the first place. Reviews for it have been awful from the getgo.

Definitely weaker. Zootopia probably looking at a drop in the mid-high 20s, which would be still great.

I'm glad 10 Cloverfield didn't implode. It will have a nice drop this weekend. Glad to see it's doing so well.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is also holding up nicely. It's still a disappointment given the budget but should make it to 25 Million or so which is better than Admission.

Go Zootopia!!

Without 3D Insurgent would've made 40s so I guess dropping to below 30 makes more sense... still pretty bad though. Summit must be pitssed.

I forgot Insurgent was in 3D, the drop definitely makes more sense now.

I also think the bad reviews definitely impacted it this time around. Reviews for the other two weren't great but I feel like people are paying attention to that more than ever these days, and a movie that has below a 20% on RT should definitely manage its expectations.
