#NotStarWars If HG disappoints, it won't be because of Star Wars. Just loss of general interest. Interest among the teenage crowd for Star Wars isn't any higher than it is for HG. It's kids and 20+ that don't care about HG as much.

Re: November 20-22 Predictions Star Wars will definitely be a factor. The buzz at the moment and thru December will be Star Wars. There is just no gap for The Hunger Games to fill, and what's crazy is that it's the finale, and just nobody seems to care. People are all fan-boy'd out with Star Wars, that The Hunger Games is not needed. I believe The Hunger Games only did well because there were no other fan boy franchises opening near it in previous years - it dominated that Fall expectation.

Interstellar. Not that any of those were as big as Star Wars will be. But people go to the movies this time of year, they're not going to avoid multiplexes in November. When the Phantom Menace came out, Austin Powers still did well, despite its buzz being stolen. And The Sixth Sense came out of nowhere to be huge.
