Notice how their most impressive performances (TA, IM, CA2 and GOTG) all had RT scores near 90.

After all, it's under the control of Marvel, so it will try and contain too many links to other franchises and it will try the same formula as the first without making anything more exciting or larger or more funny.

The first one had inspired marketing which was very fresh and different. Its not going to increase huge OW if its just more of the same.
As of now $130m/$350m total.

As of now $130m/$350m total. It's not so much that he was a draw in the first one, as the "Big name in the role that made him famous" factor, like you see with Arnold and Gibson. But I guess we'll see if Marvel is just inherently incompetent/cursed at topping themselves with sequels.
