Re: TV Ads/Marketing Budget thread
And here's a look at the Top 10 of the year so far (only Top 5 positions are covered, totals should be bigger):
1) $39.33m PETS 2) $34.82m JASON BOURNE 3) $34.77m BvS 4) $33.26m DEEPWATER HORIZON 5) $32.53m KUBO 6) $30.16m FANTASTIC BEASTS 7) $29.48m HUNTSMAN 2 8) $28.85m ID4 2 9) $28.79m STAR TREK BEYOND 10) $$28.73m TMNT2
Seems to me that Universal is the new Warner Bros...

Re: TV Ads/Marketing Budget thread
I mean not a single Disney film in the Top 10? And who in their right mind would spend $30+ million on TV marketing for Kubo?

Re: TV Ads/Marketing Budget thread
Illumination really like to throw around the cash...it helps.
I also remember how we were talking about JB having so little exposure, seems they stepped it up in the last few weeks before release.
Deepwater and Kubo also stick out as not the typical big blockbuster film.

More than I expected for Why Him? ... they really think it's going to be another Daddy's Home.
