 Thursday #'s/Previews
Top Five - $191,324 Previews. I don't really have any comparisons handy but that doesn't seem impressive for 800 theaters. Will probably fall in-line with studio expectations. http://deadline.com/2014/12/chris-rock- ... 01322070/#

That is what gone Girl made. Looks like a low 30's weekend is where this is headed.

 Re: Thursday #'s/Previews
$1.2m seems ok for Exodus and not too hot for Top Five.

 Re: Thursday #'s/Previews
Addicted posted $164,000 on Thursday night and had a preview multiplier of 18+. Can't see Top Five matching that but the $6-8m weekend range seems safe.

 Re: Thursday #'s/Previews
LOL! now variety is saying $25M for the weekend with a $9M OD for Exodus. It would be pretty pathetic if it couldn't even reach high 20's over the weekend. I mean that's below Hercules with no significant competition out right now and a MUCH bigger marketing campaign.

I made the comparison in the predictions thread to The Day the Earth Stood Still, which had the exact same release date in 2008 and similarly poor reviews. History repeats itself. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/ch ... =50&p=.htm

 Re: Thursday #'s/Previews
B- CinemaScore for Exodus.
Higher than Noah's C. The same as Kingdom of Heaven and Robin Hood.

 Re: Thursday #'s/Previews
Ridley is very hit and miss for me but KOH and Robin Hood are two of my favourites.
