 Re: TOY STORY 4 (June 2019) I also think it's going to see a significant decline. Probably not sub-$250 million, but $300 million would surprise me.
The new (final?) trailer also has surprisingly few views. I don't want to hate on it before seeing it, but... the footage they've shown looks kinda bad. It reeks of borderline direct-to-video material in my opinion.

Parents have a LOT of choices this summer, and this seems like it's going to hurt for it if it's not making a major reason for people to return.

Re: TOY STORY 4 (June 2019) Great performance by Toy Story 4, but it just re-emphasizes how did Incredibles 2 make 600? You would think its expected performance would be about 450 (right between Dory and Toy Story 4)

Re: TOY STORY 4 (June 2019) Yes TI2 had an amazing run and perhaps the most underrated run of any film ever.
The dearth of animated films up to that point in 2018 was a big factor and so too was the anticipation among kids and especially adults. Being a superhero film also helped.
