Probably only made a 10-15% difference, but it was a holiday in Canada. Went to see it yesterday and it had multiple sold out showings in the middle of the day.

Of course there is. It's Transformers.

Most films aren't making much more than their first Monday on the first Friday. I'd say GOTG is good for 13 million on Friday, but with the Holiday I'm thinking it'll have an 11.5-12.5 2nd Friday. 37-42 looks to be the right range right now.

Nope. It grossed $2.5m.

Though GotG seems to have greater family appeal than CA1 so the chances of holding better next weekend than CA1 are solid. The problem is TMNT could shave off more $$ than expected.

Yah I think TMNT will hurt it a lot more than we think :-(

:nope:

I'll give you credit for going to great lengths to be random, that's not even close to being a joke. All over the capitalization.

Was it meant to be a joke? Probably not. Was it meant to highlight what a complete tool you are. Most likely.

Your English is worse than Jack Sparrow.

Thanks, LOL. Burn!

It's a casual setting. Who cares? Doesn't really matter if I miss something. It's KJ, not AP Style. Still has nothing to do with Monday numbers.

Obviously you care. To make a word capitalized mid-sentence, you have to do an EXTRA action (either pressing shift or turning caps lock on), so you can't really pull the "I'm chilled out and am too lazy to care about grammar" routine.

You're a retard. Face it.

Very strong number for GotG though almost all movies dropped in 50's range. A Canadian holiday has in the past given a slight boost to weekday numbers. Let's see the increase today.
