Fault is gonna be huge. The media will spin it as "chicks over Cruise" even though any reasonable box office follower has seen this coming for months. |

Edge of Tomorrow - 32M The Fault In Our Stars - 50M It'll be interesting to see if Edge of Tomorrow can break out a bit because of it's glowing reviews. Also, as far as I'm concerned, the more the better for TFIOS. Anything under 30M would be surprising considering the popularity of the book and the consistent buzz over the past few months, but the movie will be a huge success no matter what. If it connects to adult moviegoers/guys and becomes a date movie outside of the teen group, it could open over 60M. I like to see small films achieve big things, so I hope it happens. |

Fault in Our Stars - $55 million Edge of Tomorrow - $38 million Go big or go home on Fault (and I see that the former is clearly what many of us are doing). |

The Fault in Our Stars - $63.2 million Edge of Tomorrow - $34 million Maleficent -55% X-Men: Days of Future Past -46% A Million Ways to Die in the West -57% I hope Obvious Child can break out in limited release. I saw an advance screening of it this week and it's incredibly delightful. If it gets a good starting PTA it could do really well. |

EOT will underperform. I am sensing opening below Oblivion. Internation openings seem to confirm that as well. It has done around 75% of oblivion number internationally according to RTH. That is horrible. |

EoT after all this time seems still an interesting one to predict. The reviews are on its side but it doesn't look like it will breakout from tracking or trailers. I'd say $30m opening for EoT with good legs. Fault is doing complete opposite of EoT. Its not a blockbuster but its going to open HUGE and has been tracking really well. I'd say $48m opening for FiOS. |

The drops next weekend will also be interesting. X-Men hopefully holds better with direct competition from EoT. |

I have a feeling A Million Ways will drop around 70%. |

With no competition it should do fine definitely don't see a 70% drop for West. |
