Nice to see Gatsby at #1. Will be its sole day in first though.

Oh boy, are you in your "the movie with the actor who was huge in the 80s has earned another $9.99" mood again?

Huge in the 80s, 90s and 00s, thank you. And the movie is still #5 in the Top grossing US movies at the moment, so it deserves a mention. I think your message is extremely premature.

I'm not sorry for being the only one to not mention Star Trek 2 or The Great Gatsby. I really don't care about those movies.

I don't have a problem with that, but how about waiting for some real milestones, you know like $90m or at least $85m...

I feel we might not see an $85m or $90m milestone, so I'm getting them in while I can. And anyway, why are $85m and $90m the milestones? Crossing $83m is just as noteworthy. I don't work in the same numerical construct as you've been forced to.

passing $83m is still a non-event...

...and you don't see me creating a thread for it all declaring that it is an "event".

But it will beat Valkyrie. So passing $83m is noteworthy.

So why didn't you write OBLIVION passes VALKYRIE instead of $83m?

Edit:
BTW: It hasn't passed VALKYRIE yet, you're one day early...

Django, the D is silent. I was all over that film, it annoyed Libs greatly.
