Only care about Oblivion. I hope it can get to $90m at least. It deserves so much more and is merely a victim of the release schedule. :(

You wanna talk about a movie that deserves more?!? Well then it should be The Sapphires! Currently sitting at a measly $1,829,890 after a typically strategic release by Weinstein - - this is Spring 2013's true BO tragedy!!!

I'm sorry. I really couldn't comment as I've not seen it. I vaguely remember something about the movie, or the title rings a bell. I guess you liked it then. But I am not a fan of the phrase "it deserved more" because I believe everything gets what it deserves, but in certain rare circumstances, some movies do actually deserve more, and Oblivion is one of them.

$4,850,000 PEEPLES (great multiplier, but still lousy weekend...)

Slightly ahead of Prometheus for 3rd-largest non-#1 debut.

I'm wondering if the record will actually go down in two weeks.

Also Mud continues to do great!

Should be Roadside's biggest film by the end of next weekend.

Good hold for IM3 and a very nice opening for Gatsby. I knew it would breakout, but I never thought it would be this BIG. Dicaprio is really on a hot streak and is easily becoming one of the biggest draws of all-time, especially among women.

I can't wait to see what The Wolf of Wall Street does in November, although I'm not expecting it to come anywhere close to Gatsby.

Also, what a hilarious failure Peeples is. I had a gut feeling it would flop, but I decided to go with everybody else and predict double digits. Obviously, Gatsby stole a lot of it's urban audience as well as older moviegoers who are the one's that usually support Perry movies.

Such a FANTASTIC number for Gatsby!

In my opinion Gatsby is the most impressive opener of 2013 so far. This could have seriously been such a big bomb. Baz Luhrmann can be kind of an acquired taste and it's already outgrossed 3 out of 4 of his past movies' final domestic totals. It should pass Moulin Rouge on Monday or Tuesday. Insane.

If you thought the OW was impressive, wait until the 2nd weekend drop. It won't be the next Gigli but 60+% is in the cards. Same for IM3 obviously.

I don't see it. IM3 is skewing towards a family audience, it will hold up well - even with STID looming.

Yeah, it ended up being a genius move. Though it wouldn't have been nearly as successful without the ace marketing that was everywhere.

Gatsby was slightly overestimated for Sunday, but still cracks $50 mil.

At least Mamma Mia never even came close to topping the all-time chart here.
