Ooops, just noticed they're being discussed already in the Friday Numbers (?) thread... Anyway, it will be interesting to see the Sunday hold for GATSBY... Last year female driven films declined just 15 % on Mothers Day, in 2011 they increased from Saturday.... |

Obviously superfantastic for IM3, and Gatsby, but holy shit at 42, that would be an 82% Saturday increase. What is the highest saturday increase for a wide release? I'd assume there are some double features going on with Gatsby this weekend. |

Anyways compared to the weekdays its a great comeback for Im3 and a 58% drop which is high buts it coming from previews as well so good in the end. That Saturday number will allow it to get by next week as well with a 50% drop as well. |

I'd expect Peeples to have one of the best holds on Sunday. Gatsby will probably drop 15-25% on Sunday. Iron Man 3, considering how much it seems to be playing to families, should have a drop between 20-30%. |

Good numbers for Gatsby and IM3. IM3 in particular is doing quite good compared to weekdays. |

I agree IM3 will lose Imax Screens mostly but still be in a lot of theaters playing in 3D and ST opens on Thursday and ST does not have appeal to kids. So I think it should clear 35 million next weekend, actually it should make around 14-16 million Next Saturday alone tbh. |
