ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
ALL YOU NEED IS KILLSurely I'm not the first one to mention this movie, but just so you know the details; Filming took place at Trafalgar Square in London, England on Sunday, November 25 for All You Need is Kill and we've got photos from the set, including Tom Cruise in action! Based on the acclaimed novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, the Doug Liman-directed sci-fi thriller stars Cruise as a man who must relive the same brutal battle against an unrelenting alien race. Slated to open on March 14, 2014, the film also stars Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Jonas Armstrong, Tony Way, Kick Gurry, Franz Drameh, Dragomir Mrsic and Charlotte Riley. First pic: This could be big. I'm thinking $150m as of now.

Re: ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
Cruise's next two films post-Jack Reacher, Oblivion and this, sound SO similar. Both are sci-fi action films. Both involve an antagonistic alien race. He plays a soldier in both. They are coming out a year apart, but still.
This could use a title change. All You Need Is Kill sounds so..."cutesy."

Emily Blunt! Woo! I have no idea on the film's potential until there's a trailer, but I want it to do well for her alone. Hope it's good.

Re: ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
Yes, they do sound quite similar, Oblivion and All You Need Is Kill, but I'm hoping that the marketing and styles/themes are totally different and can set them apart in the public's mind. What I don't want is a situation where the general movie-going audience thinks of a Tom Cruise movie as being all the same (ala Statham), and with these two after Jack Reacher, I do get that feeling. But I'm sure it'll be fine, I just hope that he doesn't do another sci-fi after AYNIK.

Re: ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
I wonder if Cruise will ever truly do the Van Helsing reboot. Such a strange project. On one hand, I dig it because I believe the Van Helsing concept has enormous potential, but it is so left-field.

This sounded cool until I realized McG is directing it.

Re: ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
It's not for Cruise, in my opinion. Let another actor do it, by all means, but Cruise is best suited to straight action rather than horror/fantasy stuff.

Re: ALL YOU NEED IS KILL predictions
This is like almost one and half year. Need something more for predictions but I am intrigued with Blunt pairing with Cruise.
