I am going with $35m based on m051293's analysis

I mentioned this on BOF the other day, I'm not really sure how exactly to approach the Thursday night shows, as this is the first time we're seeing a mega-opener have 10PM previews in this "Midnight Era."

If this was a typical midnight release, I'd be more willing to go by the extrapolations of my own personal analysis based on my local sellout reports, however, the dynamic of this Thursday is completely different from anything I've tracked in recent times. The relative sellout count could be inflated by the 10PM previews, could just as well be deflated, and it could also be just as accurate as it is with a normal 12AM opener. We just can't say as there's nothing that I can make a direct comparison to.

If this pulls off a 12M/20M split and the overall figure is 32M, I wouldn't be surprised. Just the same, if it pulls a 19M/20M split and the overall figure is 39M, I still wouldn't be surprised. The potential for massive attendance numbers is greatly increased with the 10PM previews added in, however, the tend for overestimation does as well.

Naah I don't think this is getting close to $40m. Had it not been Aurora I might have thought that but there is still a small impact of that on midnights, so the crowds won't be that crazy IMO. Though 10PM shows are interesting addition and can help it go past $35m mark.
