How would you rate The Expendables 2's domestic performance?
The ensemble action sequel is winding down now at the box office. It has earned an estimated $84,001,148 to date. How would you rate this film's domestic performance?

Good. I thought it would do worse than it actually did.

Against the budget it's not great, but the film shouldn't have cost $100 million.
As a sequel though it doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary.

Disappointing opening, but good legs.
The Colorado shooting probably had some affect.

Very poor for me. Maybe I got a bit carried away, but I was predicting $50m/$135m+.

I think the overall performance was poor and legs were ONLY good with that WOM IMO.

Poor, domestically. Great overseas.

85% retention is pretty good. Opening could have been better, but having better legs than the first is pretty impressive. Overseas, great.

It didn't have better legs than the original. Both the movies have almost same multiplier.

Being an action sequel, makes them better legs.

It did "good." I thought it would do quite a bit more though. I was expecting it to increase from the first.

Re: How would you rate The Expendables 2's domestic performa
I was expecting $40m or more on opening weekend. But I suppose for the opening it had, it finished with a respectable total. But it decreased from the first one, which given the DVD sales of TE1 and the new additions to the cast, is shocking.
