Very disappointing for both openers

No just for one. ROA should be happy with what it got

To call Rock of Ages' opening anything but disappointing is delusional. It's incredibly low for Cruise. It's low for a studio film in 3,400+ theatres. It's low for this type of audience-friendly musical: just a tad more than half of Hairspray's opening and lower even than Moulin Rouge!'s adjusted first weekend in wide release.
